The final major content update for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, which adds New Game+ and other features, will launch on October 27 at 7:00 a.m. PT / 10:00 a.m. ET, publisher Ubisoft and developer Ubisoft Quebec announced. The update includes New Game+, which allows players to keep their progress and upgrades, as well as a new currency and exclusive items. Nightmare Mode is also added, which increases the difficulty of the game. The update also includes bug fixes and new cosmetic items. Players can look forward to exploring the Caribbean again, again, and again, and rebuilding their crew while keeping what they’ve earned. The seas become more dangerous with each New Game+ playthrough, with Elite Soldiers appearing more often and max rank ships patrolling the waters. Players can go up to New Game+++++ (that’s five times).
The update also includes a new currency exclusive to New Game+ playthroughs, which can be accumulated by completing challenges and looting previously completed chests. Players can exchange Reales for Escudos at the General Store and purchase new outfits and items exclusive to New Game+ using Escudos. Nightmare Mode transforms Black Flag Resynced into a brutal fight for survival where every duel can be the player’s last.
Enemies react faster, hit harder, and punish hesitation. The Caribbean is as beautiful as ever, but beneath the waves and beyond the horizon, death awaits the unprepared. The update also includes bug fixes, including an issue where players were unable to launch the game in Offline Mode if connection to servers was lost whilst playing.
