Astarion from Baldur's Gate III, a charming rogue vampire companion, tops the list of the best vampires in gaming. He has a compelling storyline and vampiric abilities that make him a fun character to play. Other notable vampires include Rayne from BloodRayne, a sexy and deadly protagonist, and Blade from Midnight Suns, a vampire slayer with a human side.
Vincent Valentine from Final Fantasy VII is also included, despite not being a traditional vampire, due to his unique backstory and goth aesthetic. Coen from The Blood of Dawnwalker is a more recent addition, a 'Dawnwalker' who struggles with his human and vampire sides.
The list also features Alucard from Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, a powerful vampire with a complex backstory, and Carmilla, a literary figure who has been featured in various Castlevania games. Lady Dimitrescu from Resident Evil Village is a giant vampire with a unique design, while Orianna from The Witcher 3 is a Bruxa with a dark and twisted personality. The Crimson Court from Darkest Dungeon is also included, a unique take on vampire mythos that sees them as noblemen and women transformed into insect-like abominations.
