Kill Block, a complex combat environment, is a must-play multiplayer map at the launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. It features hundreds of unique configurations, with shifting, modular battlegrounds that challenge even the most elite Operators. The map reconfigures every match, forcing players to rethink routes, sightlines, and combat spaces on the fly. The Training Facility is made up of three modular sections: two outer areas known as End Slabs and one central space known as Central Slab. These combine into new combat configurations after each match, creating hundreds of unique layout combinations. The map is designed to function as a tactical set, with each section offering its own layouts to master and spaces to navigate. The Central Slab is a key area to focus on, as it is always linked with the adjacent slabs and offers scenery crafted to enhance combat coming in from multiple angles. Players can expect to see a wide variety of environments, from urban streets to military compounds, shipping containers, and more. The map also features military-grade weather simulation arrays that can introduce the possibility of rain or snow, impacting visibility and tactical conditions. The refined and fluid movement mechanics allow players to skirmish as they would during a core Multiplayer match, including climbing on rooftops, containers, and balconies. Kill Block will launch alongside an expanded Gunfight experience, featuring both 3v3 and the all-new 10v10 mode. The mode pits teams against each other in single-life combat, with all players equipped with the same randomly assigned weapons and equipment. The map will also support additional core Multiplayer modes in post-launch seasons, giving players fresh tactical challenges across an expanding variety of Multiplayer modes in the months to come.
