A Tokyo cafe is offering a unique experience that lets customers play Buckshot Roulette in real life, but with non-lethal mechanics. The Ukiyo Game Bar in Tokyo announced the experience on October 9, 2026, and it will be available until November 9, 2026. Guests can make reservations to play the game, which is a recreation of the viral indie game.

The experience includes a host wearing a mask of the dealer's terrifying face and wielding a prop shotgun as players gather round the roulette table with their drinks in tow. Players sign a waiver and engage in a version of Russian Roulette with a Shotgun against a mysterious and terrifying opponent. The game has a multiplayer mode and a cash prize for surviving.

The cafe also offers themed cocktails, including the Arctic Eggs cocktail, made in collaboration with the game's developer, The Water Museum. Photos of the experience quickly went viral on social media, leaving fans with severe FOMO and scrambling to make travel plans. A guest who played the game recommended it for anyone visiting Tokyo, calling it a lot of fun.
