The Comedy Wrestling Universe of Nearly Average Wrestling (NAW) is expanding with a brand new video game, NAW MERCY, developed in partnership with Leroy Patterson of TACKBOARD GAMES. Gameplay will feel similar to a traditional arcade fighting game format and feature an original soundtrack with music from The Jim Johnstons, Kyle Helf, and more. NAW MERCY is inspired by classics like Mortal Kombat and WrestleMania: The Arcade Game, bringing the bizarre world of NAW’s live shows and Twitch streams to life through over-the-top combat, outrageous characters, and absurd humor.
Players familiar with the NAW universe will recognize characters from NAW’s live events and weekly Twitch broadcasts, alongside recognizable faces from the wrestling world at large, including independent superstars such as EFFY, SHANE HASTE and more. NAW MERCY is designed to grow, with new characters and special appearances to be added over time.
The initial rollout of NAW MERCY will be exclusive to NAW Patreon subscribers, giving established fans first access to beta-test the game, provide feedback, and actively help the development team refine the experience ahead of its eventual public release on Steam.
