Outcast Tales, a free-to-play RPG, has launched on Steam, developed by Hardlane Studio and published by Inner Pocket. The game takes players on a post-apocalyptic adventure where they lead a misfit crew through turn-based battles and tough choices that can lead to party conflicts. The game's story-rich adventure allows players to assemble a three-person crew from a diverse roster of wasteland wanderers, each with their own skills and powers, and assign personality types to see how they interact with each other.
The game's unpredictable inhabitants and upgradeable skills will give players the edge in combat and send those miscreants packing. The choices players make will shape their story, for better or worse, opening up surprising solutions to problems or giving their band of misfits even more reason to hate each other.
