Butterscotch Shenanigans' roguelike autobattler How Many Dudes is getting a major 1.1 update on October 29, 2026, adding seven new Sports Dudes, Challenge Mode, and a revamped Upgrades system. The update more than doubles the number of possible team compositions, taking the total from 850,668 to 1,906,884. This is the first major update since the game's launch on Steam on July 30, 2026, when it sold over 300,000 copies in just three months.

The update introduces Soccer, Basketball, Football, Hockey, Tennis, Coach, and Broadcaster Dudes, giving players new ways to experiment and discover wildly overpowered or spectacularly terrible team combinations. Challenge Mode provides new challenges for players to tackle, and the reworked Upgrades system offers permanent stat boosts and more freedom to choose how Dudes develop across multiple runs. How Many Dudes is available now on PC via Steam, with the update launching on October 29, 2026.
