Arrowhead Studios is marking the third annual Liberty Day in Helldivers 2 with in-game gifts, decorations, and community minigames for active Helldivers. The event celebrates the Managed Democracy that guides humanity in the game's universe. Players can expect new ship decorations, a classic AR-23L Liberator Legacy1 weapon, and community minigames like Minidivers and Adopt-a-SEAF.
The event runs for 24 hours, and players must log in to claim their gift. The AR-23L Liberator Legacy will be rewarded at the conclusion of the Liberty Day celebrations. The event also includes officially recognized Liberty Day parties, such as the Liberty Day Pyre and Liberty Day Parades, which will be broadcast to ships throughout the galaxy.
The Mandatory Salute and Helldiver Enlistment are also part of the celebrations. Players can also participate in the Orbital Bombardment of the Moon and enjoy a patriotic fireworks display. The most important thing to do on Liberty Day is to be free and enjoy the freedom afforded by Managed Democracy. Players can also celebrate with new rewards and merchandise available on the Helldivers 2 Super Merch store.
The game is available on PlayStation Plus Game Catalog, and players can join up with a PlayStation Plus Extra membership to enlist and spread Managed Democracy across the cosmos. Gear up for Liberty Day with new officially licensed merchandise available now, including a limited edition set of six metal collectibles and a collection of metal posters from Displate.
A limited edition, individually numbered FiGGYZ collector’s box set is also available for pre-order starting on November 20.
