Independent developer Armative Studios has announced the launch of Steel Aces, a free-to-play tank MMO, on its proprietary platform, with the Steam version set to arrive early next week. The game focuses on skill-based, historically authentic armoured warfare, featuring realistic ballistics and component-based damage. Players can master their vehicles and outmaneuver opponents on the battlefield, with success based on skill, not spending. The game has entered Early Access with major improvements to its UI, vehicle handling, core physics, and overall player experience, following feedback from September’s Open Play Weekend.
