The game is available now, and it is the studio's debut detective game. In The Night Shift, players take on the role of a detective who must investigate suspects, cross-check charge sheets, alibis, and other evidence to solve cases. The game features a seven-night campaign with recurring characters, boss cases, and eight endings shaped by the player's accuracy, corruption, and conscience. The game's developer, MediaVerse Labs, stated that they wanted to create a detective game where the paperwork is the investigation, and every stamp has a cost.
