Square Enix has delayed the patch 8.0 expansion for Final Fantasy XIV, titled Evercold, to February 23, 2027, a delay from its previously planned January 2027 release window. Early access will begin on February 19, 2027. Square Enix announced the delay. Pre-orders will open on November 4. A Collector’s Edition will also be available, which includes a Reaper figure, Ethos metal keychain, Kottr mini plush, “Tapestry of the Fourth,” and an Evercold special art box. Final Fantasy XIV is available now for multiple platforms including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam.
