Bethesda Softworks and developer Bethesda Game Studios have officially announced the title and location of the sixth entry in the Elder Scrolls series, The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel, after an eight-year wait since its initial announcement in 2018. The news was revealed in a video celebrating 40 years of Bethesda Game Studios. The teaser trailer includes a quote attributed to Yazar, Moth Priest to High Queen Iradne of Hammerfell, from 4E 206, which reads, “The scroll offered only a shimmer, a veil thinly lifted to my eyes. A future lost. A victory undone. Sands of time scattered by fate.”
The development of The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel continues, with Bethesda Game Studios expressing their excitement to work on the game, stating, “We can’t wait to make even more together with The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel. Development continues, and while it’ll be some time before we’re ready to share more, it feels great to finally reveal the name and location with you.”
