Y2K-style extreme snowboarding game HYPERyuki: Snowboard Syndicate will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC via Steam in early 2027, according to publisher Acclaim and developer Wabisabi Games. The Switch 2 version is newly announced. Wabisabi Games CEO and co-founder Anwar Noriega expressed excitement about the game's inclusion in the Nintendo Indie World Showcase, comparing it to the 'Nintendo Seal of Quality' of the past.
HYPERyuki: Snowboard Syndicate features high-speed, trick-fueled snowboarding with a retro-futurist Y2K aesthetic, inspired by 90s legends like Cool Boarders and SSX. The game includes three game modes, multiplayer, and an energetic soundtrack featuring various artists. Four playable characters are available at launch, with eight more unlockable through game progression.
