HorrorVale: Deadluxe Edition is now partnering with Publisher Electric Airship to bring the game to modern consoles with enhanced visuals and features after initially releasing in 2024 to overwhelmingly positive acclaim on Steam. The game holds an unbelievably deep turn-based combat system that keeps players learning, with 500+ artistically and mechanically unique enemies to face.
Players will also encounter fiendish, brain-bending puzzles, but can rely on 30+ playable friends to help them on their journey. The game's story spans 4 Acts, with 25 hours of main quest and 60-100 hours of content to 100% completion. The game features tonnes of handmade art with soul, revised exclusively for consoles, and a modern take on turn-based combat with a spooky spin.
Players can recruit over 30 party members, each with unique abilities and quirks, and get to know their personal stories in 60 available sidequests. The game also features shared XP across all characters, allowing players to experiment without fear of lost XP. The game's world is a truly living-err-undead city, where players can meet countless unique and humorous NPCs.
The game's development began eight years ago, when two best friends, one an artist and the other a musician, struck a deal to create an RPG, with the musician providing the soundtrack. Over the years, many others were recruited to help, providing art, code, and testing, and the game is now complete, bursting with heart and soul.
