game events GmbH, the organizer of gamescom dev, has appointed Sasha Volkohon as Head of Commercial, effective November 1, 2026. Volkohon succeeds Roufina Guenkova, who has left the company after a successful tenure. She brings over a decade of experience in games industry sales and business development, previously working at remote control productions and Plinga. The appointment follows gamescom dev's largest edition to date, welcoming more than 6,200 unique registered participants, a 15% increase compared to 2025. The conference represents more than 2,500 companies from 95 countries.
