A new slice of life adventure game called Danchi Days has been released on Steam, developed by gingham games and published by Analgesic Productions. The game is from the co-creator of Anodyne and Angeline Era. In Danchi Days, 12-year-old Hoshino moves back to her Japanese hometown to be with her grandma, who is living with dementia. Hoshino decides to revive the local summer festival by inviting her quirky neighbors. The game features a cast of neighbors from all walks of life, each showing a different facet of danchi life. Players can explore the world, interact with neighbors, and play minigames to revive the festival. A 30-minute demo of Chapter 1 is available to play on Steam, and a digital soundtrack is available to purchase on Bandcamp and Steam for $9.99.
