BAKUDO, a sci-fi school drama and ball-sport boss-rush action game, is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 according to Shueisha Games. The news was announced during Indie World 2026.10.28, alongside a new trailer and key visual for the game. The trailer introduces three central characters, including protagonist Yuria, and showcases the game's school life setting at Soliris Academy. Shueisha Games also released new character profiles and a logo for the game. BAKUDO is currently in full-scale development by SAYIL GAMES, a Japanese independent game team. The game's story follows Yuria as she enrolls at Soliris Academy and is challenged to defeat the school's top-ranked students, the Stellar Eight, within ten days. The game's development is led by Shueisha Games, a video game label of Shueisha, one of Japan's largest publishing houses.
