Independent developer Qloud Games has released its life-sim cozy solarpunk MMO Loftia into Early Access for PC and Mac on Steam and the Epic Games Store. The game, which took four years to develop, is set in a vibrant world of floating islands and focuses on community, cooperation, and shared progress. Players can build a home, grow crops, rescue animals, and contribute to large-scale community projects. Loftia is available now at a base price of US$29.99, with a 17% launch discount bringing the introductory price to US$24.89. A Nintendo Switch version is planned. The game's developers have also partnered with environmental non-profit One Tree Planted to support reforestation efforts, with a percentage of profits from in-game purchases going towards planting trees. Loftia's Early Access launch marks a significant milestone in the game's development, and the team will continue to make improvements and updates until its Full Release next year.
