The Black in Gaming Foundation is set to celebrate its 10th anniversary with the BIG Awards, taking place on March 1, 2027, during the GDC Festival of Gaming. The event will honor the achievements of Black industry professionals in media, art, game development, and social advocacy, recognizing both pioneers and trailblazers in the gaming industry. Past honorees include notable figures such as Reggie Fils-Aimé, Sarah Bond, and Jerry Lawson.
