Turn-based RPG The Backworld, featuring narrative-driven horror elements, is set to launch for PC via Steam in Q2 2027, according to publisher Top Hat Studios and developer Numor Games. The game promises a broken world where danger awaits at every turn, with endless dimensions to explore and a variety of abilities to unlock. Players will be able to choose their approach to survival, using strategy to overcome challenges and shape their journey.
The Backworld will also feature a diverse group of companions, each with their own abilities and personalities, and a cosmic horror journey that ripples through dimensions, reaching the player's hometown.
