Independent Latvian developer Chomski Games has announced their psychological horror game, Moonlit Vigil, which will launch in Q1 2027. The Steam page is live now, allowing players to access information about the game before its release. Unlike many indie horror games, Moonlit Vigil uses physically based rendering (PBR) assets and Unity's High Definition Render Pipeline (HDRP) to create a more detailed, atmospheric environment.
The game combines exploration, environmental puzzles, and jumpscares in a short, focused horror experience. A demo release is planned in November, giving players a chance to experience the game before its full launch.
