Nagoshi Studio, a Tokyo-based game development studio founded by Yakuza series creator Toshiro Nagoshi under NetEase Games in November 2021, has been officially dissolved according to a notice published in the Japanese government gazette Kanpo on October 31. The dissolution was a result of a shareholders’ resolution. The studio had previously announced GANG OF DRAGON, a Kabukicho-set action adventure game starring Korean actor Ma Dong-seok, in December 2025.

The game's development was reportedly uncertain due to funding issues, with Bloomberg reporting in March 2026 that NetEase Games planned to cut funding from the studio in May, giving it the option to go independent if it could pay its way out.
