Monster Train 2: The Punished, a new clan and unique strategic abilities, will be available as a paid DLC on November 10. The DLC will be available on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and XBOX for 7.99 €. The new clan, led by playable warrior Archus (Darkness Incarnate), can convert the suffering of The Punished into power in battle. This allows players to sacrifice cards to the monolith to build devotion and strengthen their units through zeal, unleashing powerful effects and buffs that counterbalance damage to their own ranks by inflicting greater suffering on enemies. The more damage The Punished take, the more formidable their power becomes. The introduction of The Punished marks the conclusion of the series of content updates for Monster Train 2, which has seen several free updates and the previous DLC Destiny of the Railforged, which added a new game mode and challenges. Monster Train 2 builds on the innovative, three-layered combat system of the original and offers a new epic challenge. Players can lead five playable clans, each with their own strategic advantages, and combine cards to create powerful synergies and unstoppable decks. The game has already attracted over a million players and will also be released on mobile devices (iOS and Android) and Nintendo Switch 2 later this year, with The Punished available on these platforms as well.
