Cliff Richard is among the numerous famous artists who are lending their music to Rockstar's GTA 6, with Richard's classic tune "Devil Woman" appearing in the Netflix Extended Look. Richard, 86, didn't know about any of that, however, or that GTA 6 is a game and not a TV show.

Speaking to The Times (via Dexerto), Richard said of the partnership with Rockstar for GTA 6: "I was told this happened!" He said his nephew's sons told him about it. "They didn't realize I could sing like that," he said.

Richard was eventually made aware of GTA 6, but the singer doesn't know what that is. “The show is a game show, isn’t it, really? One of the biggest on TV?” he asked.

"Devil Woman" was originally released in 1976, so it's now 50 years old. Richard said he's pretty jazzed about the fact that young people will hear his music.

“People will no longer just say, ‘Oh, Cliff Richard is from the past,’” he said. “Because I am, but that past is what makes everything what it is today."

It was reported that Spotify streams of "Devil Woman" surged massively following the Netflix Extended Look in August.

For more on the music of GTA 6, be sure to check out GameSpot's rundown of all the songs in the game. The game's official score by Justice is releasing on December 11, and it will be available to stream and buy on physical media. The same cannot be said for the game itself, which is a digital exclusive. The game will be sold at retailers, but there is no disc: just a code in a box.

GTA 6 launches on November 19 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and the game's file size is gargantuan.
