Jagex has partnered with developer Games by Malcs to publish Melvor Idle 2: A RuneScape Adventure, an idle adventure game releasing on 17 November 2026. The new title expands on the foundations laid by the popular Melvor Idle, which sold over 1m units, to bring a deeper, more expansive idle adventure to players. This partnership brings Melvor Idle closer to the RuneScape franchise than ever before, officially becoming “a RuneScape Adventure”.

Melvor Idle 2 invites players to embark on an engaging, accessible adventure as they journey through Melvor and skill up to make their mark in its world. The game features five new skills, bringing the total skill count up to 29, and a reimagined Mastery system for all skills. A new Quest system introduces new ways to test combat skills and uncover the rich history of Melvor. The game will be available in Early Access for PC via Steam on 17 November 2026.
