Golf 5 MAX, a retro-inspired arcade spinoff of the Golf 5 VR simulator series, has launched on PC via Steam today for $12.99 USD. The game is developed by LENYA DIGITAL and published by AAA Game Studios. Players can step onto the first tee with a special 25% discount until November 16. Golf 5 MAX combines physics-accurate golf with arcade-style tension, featuring a nostalgic aesthetic and increased pressure. The game includes eight distinct golfers with big personalities and seven original 18-hole courses. Players can compete online against up to three other players and participate in official International eGolf Federation tournaments. The game also features RPG-style skill progression, allowing players to master intuitive 3-click swing mechanics and earn experience points to invest in skill points. The game is available in multiple languages, including English, French, Italian, German, Spanish - Spain, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese - Brazil, Portuguese - Portugal, Russian, and Simplified Chinese. AAA Game Studios' CEO Antonio Marín said that the game's 'Birdie-or-Bust Mode' would have eaten rolls of quarters back in the '90s, and that the team is excited to bring the arcade experience to the next generation of golf fans. Golf 5 MAX is now available on PC via Steam, and players can learn more about the game by visiting the official AAA Game Studios website, joining the Discord community, and following the team on various social media platforms.
