Players will explore new areas, meet whimsical characters, and face the sinister Board of Directors, Horrible Hank, Dr.
Boysen, and Mussty, who have imprisoned Gumball inside Shrink HQ. The game's creator, Adam Lewis Graf, aims to conjure up end-of-life-cycle Game Boy Color vibes and a "gen 2" take on the Gumball formula. The story premise and mechanics are intertwined, and the game takes place in the new region of Trick-or-Treat Land, five years after the events of the previous game.
