Radiation Blue and Snail Games USA have launched Dead Party, a 4-player neighborhood defense game, on Steam and Epic Games Store for $19.99 / £17.75 / €20.49, with a 15% discount during launch week. The game is Steam Deck verified, and console versions will follow in the weeks to come. Dead Party is a successor to the zombie barricading and rock-and-roll romp Dead Block, and builds on its predecessor’s music-fueled mayhem with chaotic co-op action, base defense, improvised traps, and rock-powered zombie destruction. The game is set in the once-peaceful town of Shady Hill, where four unlikely heroes must defend humanity from an invasion of zombies that rise from their graves after UFOs appear overhead on Halloween. Players must scavenge their surroundings, break objects for resources, build barricades, deploy traps, and adapt their defenses as the horde closes in. They can also harness the power of rock music to push back the zombie hordes, adding an unconventional twist to the game's frantic combat. Across Dead Party's game modes, teams can experiment with different approaches to surviving the invasion, including Stage Equipment, Antenna, Skull Cannon, and Horde. Players can also follow the adventures of four unique characters through Story Mode, each bringing their own abilities, strengths, weaknesses, equipment, and character storylines to the fight. With support for online and local co-op, Dead Party is built to turn zombie survival into a chaotic group experience.
