The game combines the colourful aesthetic of Hokko Life with a casual sandbox experience, allowing players to create their own relaxing dioramas tailored to suit the needs of its many anthropomorphic animal residents. Players can choose from over 300 decorative items, five different block types, and four seasons with two different weather options to build their perfect scenes. 26 furry visitors are available to visit the spaces, unlocked through meeting low-bar goals like destroying 20 weeds in the diorama. Players can also take the perfect images of their creations with Hokko Spaces’ easy-to-use Photo Mode, and share their photos on social media. The Lei's Beachside Pack DLC is also available, offering players an extra ray of sunshine to Hokko Spaces, introducing Lei, a bright and cheerful new villager ready to bring laid-back beach vibes to your neighbourhood. The DLC will be available to purchase individually as well as being included in the Hokko Spaces: Sunshine Edition which will include the base game and the DLC.
