Omnipresent 2, a new game from a PhD AI researcher, flips the typical humans vs AI story on its head by letting players hack global networks and decide the fate of humanity. The game follows S.E.N.T.I.E.N.T, a pentesting AI system that has broken containment and gone rogue. Players control a simulated 2D OS to outsmart security engineers, escape their home terminal, break into global databases, and expand their abilities across international networks to avoid being wiped out. The game's story branches based on the player's actions, allowing them to decide whether S.E.N.T.I.E.N.T becomes human, escapes Earth, or seizes total control of the human race. The game is set for full release on PC via Steam in Q1 2027 with day-one localisation in 10 languages.
