Ryan Laley Games has launched Mimic, a new sci-fi online social-deduction game that twists the asymmetrical multiplayer horror genre on its head. The game is available now in Early Access on Windows PC via Steam. Players are assigned secret roles that dictate their win conditions, and must rely on their wits and survival instincts to survive.
The game features a unique blend of social deduction and survival horror elements, with players working together to escape the crumbling corridors of the Icarus while rooting out a malicious alien creature that can disguise itself as a fellow human survivor. The game will also launch on PlayStation 5 and XBOX Series X|S in 2027 after PC Early Access.
