Indie studio Meander Games has announced its debut title, Agony of Choice, a slow-paced real-time strategy game for single player, co-op and PvP. The Steam page is now online, and a closed beta is in preparation. Meander Games is an independent development studio from Austria and Switzerland, and Agony of Choice is its first strategy game.
The game focuses on features that the developers feel are missing in the genre, such as a full overview of the battlefield and time to think. This creates a "real-time chess" feeling, where players must foresee their opponent's plans and conceal their own. Meander Games is currently looking for testers for the closed beta and has begun working on a demo version.
