Blizzard's executive producer Holly Longdale has revealed that the addition of native controller support in World of Warcraft: Forever is the first step towards making the game playable on various devices, including the next-generation Xbox device, Project Helix.
The company's long-term plan is to allow players to play World of Warcraft on any device they want, and the introduction of gamepad support is seen as a crucial step in achieving this goal, with Longdale citing the ROG Ally X as an example of the flexibility that players will have in the future.
