Dungeon Rampage, a cult-favorite multiplayer hack-and-slash RPG, is returning with its biggest evolution yet. The game officially launches its 1.0 release on Steam on November 3, bringing a fully remastered visual experience, the return of two fan-favorite heroes, and uncapped character progression. This major milestone marks the game's revival, bringing together returning players and newcomers for the next chapter of the game. Angelos Mako, a longtime fan, spent years tracking down the original developers, helping recover the game's lost source code, and securing the rights to bring the game back. Mako partnered with industry veterans at Gamebreaking Studios to turn a childhood favorite into a reality once again. According to Mako, the game means so much to him, and he's been waiting for this day for over eight years. He's thrilled to see old-time players and newcomers crawl through these dungeons together. The game's 1.0 release introduces a comprehensive graphical remaster, refreshing the game's visual presentation while preserving the fast-paced, arcade-style hack-and-slash gameplay that made it a cult favorite. Players can team up with friends for chaotic dungeon runs, take on hordes of enemies, and rediscover the world of Dungeon Rampage with a modernized experience built for today's systems. Two iconic heroes, the Dragon Knight and the Pyromancer, are also making their return, expanding the roster and bringing back more of the original game's distinctive combat styles. Progression is also evolving, with uncapped levels allowing players to continue developing their characters beyond the previous limits. Players can unlock gameplay content through play, without microtransactions, and reporting tools and anti-cheat measures help support fairer multiplayer sessions.
