Developer BANJIHA GAMES and publisher Sandyfloor have announced Cold Case, a text-based detective game coming to Steam in the first half of 2027. The game lets players use digital forensics to recover words and passages from fire-damaged records found in a police inspector's burned-down home. By entering keywords into an in-game computer, players can restore text and reveal new clues in photographs, helping them solve eight unsolved cases and uncover the final mystery. The game is from the creators of Seoul 2033 and FAKEBOOK, and is known for its experimental game systems and approachable entertainment.
