A documentary about BioWare's history, titled Massive Effect: The BioWare Story, is in the works. The film began filming two years ago, but its focus has shifted to document BioWare's final days before EA shut down the studio last month. The documentary is being made for Canada's Super Channel and will feature a variety of figures from BioWare's history, including the three co-founders and creatives who worked on popular games like Mass Effect and Dragon Age. The film will premiere in 2027 and a website has been set up for fans to share their memories from BioWare games.
