Acclaim Inc has announced that it will be releasing Die or Die, a top-down shooter roguelike developed by Ao Norte, on Steam and consoles in 2027. The game was playable at L.A. Comic Con last week and has been praised for its unique blend of cartoon charm and frenetic action. Players will run, shoot, and dodge their way through enemy-packed levels to earn dice, which can be used to unlock abilities or disable threats. The game's fast-paced gameplay and deadly dice-based abilities are showcased in a new trailer released by Acclaim to celebrate the announcement.

The game follows the story of Lil' Demon, a taxi driver who wants to leave his life behind, but finds himself in a series of challenges that he must overcome using his dice-based abilities.
