A trailer for a remake of the original Persona appears to have leaked online, showing a montage of gameplay footage, combat, and dialogue. The footage, shared on YouTube, is similar to recent Persona 3 and 4 remakes but with a modified UI and remixed music from the original game. While the authenticity of the footage is uncertain, Persona fans believe it to be legitimate, with some speculating it's actual gameplay or an internal pitch video to greenlight a remake. Neither Sega nor Atlus has confirmed a remake is in development, but a series producer expressed interest in revisiting the original game in August.
