Gaijin Entertainment has announced that Eagle's Shadow, the next major content update for War Thunder, will be available in mid-November. The update will bring dozens of new military vehicles, including the F-15EX Eagle II, a modern American jet, and the Imperator Nikolai I, a heavily armored Russian battleship. The F-15EX will become the new top aircraft in the US and Israeli aviation lineups, featuring advanced systems like the AESA radar and electronic warfare suite. It will also be the first aircraft capable of carrying 12 active radar-homing air-to-air missiles or up to 20 guided bombs in a single loadout.
The update will also introduce the Su-15TM, a Cold War high-altitude interceptor, and cluster bombs, a new category of aircraft weapon. The Su-15TM will be the earliest Soviet aircraft in War Thunder to carry medium-range air-to-air missiles. On the ground, Germany and Sweden will receive the Leopard 2A8, a powerful main battle tank equipped with the Trophy hard-kill active protection system. More information about the vehicles and features coming in War Thunder: Eagle's Shadow will be revealed in the coming weeks.
