Starni Games and Palaye Release STEEL CORE Gameplay Walkthrough

Starni Games and Palaye have released a 12-minute gameplay walkthrough of STEEL CORE, an upcoming turn-based mech strategy game, ahead of its first closed playtest scheduled for November 5. The walkthrough offers an extended look at the game’s core loop, including managing an outpost, customizing mechs, and fighting alien creatures in turn-based grid combat.

New screenshots showcasing the game’s biomes, enemies, and mech designs have also been released. Players can request access to the playtest through the game’s Steam page, with selected participants receiving further instructions before the test begins. STEEL CORE is scheduled for release in Q1 2027.
