The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel is reportedly the official title of the sixth entry in the Elder Scrolls series, according to a The Verge report by Tom Warren citing sources familiar with Bethesda Softworks' plans. The official announcement of the name could come as soon as November, marking 15 years since the release of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
Bethesda Softworks has been showing off gameplay of The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel in recent months, with Xbox CEO Asha Sharma praising its scale and grandeur and saying the story is even greater. The Xbox CEO even teased the subtitle with eight asterisks, the same amount of letters in 'Sentinel'.
In related Xbox news, Turn 10 Studios head Dan Greenawalt is reportedly leaving the company after almost 27 years. The departure comes after Xbox announced plans to merge Playground Games with Turn 10 Studios, with Playground Games being the surviving company and Turn 10 Studios becoming Playground Games Redmond.
