A new Blade Runner board game, titled Blade Runner 2099, is set to launch on Kickstarter next year from Lucky Duck Games. The game will be a narrative-driven cooperative adventure where humans are persecuted, and players will work together to solve a detective-based mystery. The game will feature a digital app that provides narration and other features, and will have a separate story from the upcoming Amazon Prime series of the same name.
Fans of the Blade Runner series have a lot to look forward to in the coming year, with both the board game and the TV series launching in the near future. The Amazon Prime series, an undercover police story, is set to launch in November, and will be a separate story from the board game, although there is no word on whether characters may make appearances.
