Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble has been canceled, with the game's servers set to permanently shut down on May 1, 2027. The game was soft-launched in several countries in 2025 and 2026, but failed to gain traction. Oh BiBi announced the game's demise in a message on the game's official website, stating that a final update will be released on November 6, 2026, and the game will be removed from storefronts on November 21, 2026.

Players who already have the game will be able to continue playing until the servers shut down in May 2027. The game's community has been thanked for their support, with Oh BiBi expressing gratitude for the feedback and help provided throughout the game's development. The game's servers will shut down on May 1, 2027, and all player data will be wiped from the servers at that time.

Players will no longer be able to download or reinstall the game after November 21, 2026, and the game will no longer load after the servers have been shut down. There will be no additional game updates after November 7, 2026, and all current game modes, matchmaking, and competitive features will remain active until the servers shut down.

The Qwark Pass seasons will continue to run until May 1, 2027, and the Super Pass is now free, allowing players to earn all content throughout each season. Players have until May 1, 2027, to enter, claim, and utilize any rewards earned through play. In-app purchases have been removed, and players can continue to earn rewards through play and spending that currency on upgrades, cosmetics, characters, and currencies.

All player data will be deleted at the End of Service, on May 1, 2027. The game's ceasing development has no impact on other Ratchet & Clank games or PlayStation services.
