A pet shop after dark, a horror point-and-click adventure game, will launch on November 12, 2026, for $9.99 USD on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The game, developed by npckc and published by Viridian Software, was originally released and recognized for its unusual storytelling approach, winning the WINGS Spotlight at BIG Festival 2023 and becoming a finalist for the festival's Innovation award.
The console version features reimagined computer-based interactions through an in-game virtual desktop, preserving the game's unconventional structure for console play. npckc also added new content for returning players, including new diary entries and pieces of lore to uncover.
