A one-person studio, Antisthenes LLC, has released a satirical arcade game called Flip-a-Tyrant! for iPhone and iPad on the App Store in several countries. The game is available for free with optional in-app purchases. The game's concept, mechanics, and design decisions were made by the studio's founder, Troy. He used AI coding tools to write the code and AI image tools to create some of the art. The game's goal is to flip away cartoon tyrants that pop up from holes in a field and run for the stage. Each time a tyrant reaches the stage, they take control of the bully pulpit and spread their propaganda. Players pursue a first campaign victory at level 30 and then continue as long as they can hold out. The game has three difficulty settings, including a Hard start at level 10 for adept players. Every tyrant is an invented type, and no character is a real person. The game is available in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom, with an Android version coming soon to Google Play. The studio's founder, Troy, said he built the game because he couldn't find a similar game mechanic elsewhere. He still plays the game in his free time, even after countless hours of testing. The game does not collect any data, show ads, or require a sign-in. Players can earn in-game tokens for free by playing the game or purchase them with real money. The game's founder often wonders if a more technological world will strengthen tyrants' grip on power or help people avoid tyranny. Flip-a-Tyrant! is Antisthenes LLC's first game, released in July 2026. The studio's motto is "There's never a bad time to flip off a tyrant!"
