Cairn's On the Trail: Deep Water DLC is now available for free on PC and PS5, offering a new storyline and three brand-new climbing spots. The DLC takes players back in time to a trial set by legendary climber Otto Mondo, where they must attempt to summit a series of crux climbs with Aava and Marco. Along the way, players will explore Otto Mondo’s crags and piece together the legend behind the man.
Cairn is also receiving an update with a Free Roam mode on Mount Kami, allowing players to travel to any bivouac site visited before and explore the mountain. To celebrate the occasion, Cairn is hitting its biggest discount yet, with a 30% off sale. Reviewers note that a first playthrough of Cairn should take around 15 hours, while a first playthrough of On the Trail: Deep Water should take around 3 hours.
