NIS America will release storybook adventure game The Grimm Reapress and the Drearytale Monster for PlayStation 5, Switch 2, Switch, and PC via Steam on May 13, 2027 in the west, supporting Japanese audio with English subtitles. The game first launched for PlayStation 5, Switch 2, and Switch on April 30 in Japan from the team behind The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince and The Cruel King and the Great Hero.
The game follows Mono as she searches for her sister, who has contracted the deadly disease Paper Mortis, which transforms girls into storybooks known as “Grimmoires,” and then into monsters. Mono must make a contract with Mar, a fantastical monster, to traverse the Libratarium and save her sister.
