Pokemon Unite will be shut down on March 23, 2027, following its final competition, the Aeos Crown 2027, in Tokyo. The game will be unavailable on both Nintendo Switch and mobile. The Pokemon Company has halted Aeos Gem sales and new Unite Club memberships, as well as automatic renewals. The company expressed gratitude to players who have played since its release on July 21, 2021, and hopes they continue to enjoy the game until its final day.
Players will be able to view their stats and achievements, and even play practice rounds, but online matches won't be available. A new library feature will be required to access these features. Players who complete the required library data download before March 23, 2027, will be able to use the library feature to view certain records and in-game content.
The final update lands in November, along with a special event where players can grab Unite licenses, Holowear, and other items.
