The new edition includes several features such as 25 buildable tiles, a map editor, UX improvements, an environmental controls panel, a quick selection tool, and graphics options. Players can choose between a performance option targeting 60 FPS with upscaling and adjusted quality settings, or a quality option targeting 30 FPS and prioritizing visual fidelity. The game also includes 10 DLC expansions and content packs, including After Dark, Snowfall, Green Cities, and Sunset Harbor expansions.
