A final trailer for the canceled game Transformers: Reactivate has leaked online, giving fans a glimpse of what the completed project might have looked like. The trailer was uploaded to X/Twitter by a user named Nem - TFR Archives, who preserves Transformers content. The trailer shows off a fully-fledged campaign with single-player content and optional online co-op, featuring Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Iron Hide navigating rough terrain and teaming up with the Decepticons to purge the galaxy of a mutual enemy.
The game also featured a recruitable and playable Megatron character. The trailer's existence is a travesty, given the game's cancellation and the intriguing story, stunning visuals, and robust gameplay it seemed to offer. The user Nem is currently making a documentary about the failed project and is urging anyone with information to share their story.
Transformers: Reactivate is not the only painful cancellation in the gaming space, with the next Mass Effect game also being canned by EA, which shut down BioWare as part of its shift in strategy.
